Effective: April 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025
Upon commencement of this Service Agreement (the “Agreement”), Yardly (“the Contractor”) and the customer (“the Client”) agree as follows:
We take every measure to ensure satisfaction with the initial service visit. If the Client finds any deficiencies, they must contact Yardly within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion (when the Yardly Pro departs the property). If reported within 24 hours and the issue is within scope, we will return at no charge; otherwise, it will be addressed on the next visit.
Yardly will perform the services outlined in your Quote between April 1 and October 31, 2025, governed by this Agreement.
Services listed in the Quote.
Recurring mowing occurs on scheduled weekdays. A $10 rescheduling fee applies. No refunds for skipped visits. Clean-ups are weather-dependent and completed within 3 days of the scheduled date. Visit durations may vary; no refunds for shorter visits.
Yardly notifies Clients via email and text:
Clients must keep contact information updated. Message/data rates may apply. Yardly follows CASL. Clients can change preferences anytime.
Billed per Quote, plus 5% GST. No minimum charge. Weather delays are possible.
Rain delays may result in missed services. Yardly monitors weather data. Clients must report hazards. Yardly is not liable for unreported issues.
Results may take up to 10 days. Reapplications are available after that window. Not applicable to gardens. Extra removal is billed at $75/hr (2-hour minimum).
Optional add-on service only. Unsafe or excessive conditions may void service.
Yardly disclaims liability for health issues unless gross negligence occurs. Sanitation is not included.
Yardly avoids obstructions within 12″. Clients must report yard hazards. Yardly is not responsible for debris or unsafe conditions.
Client issues (pets, gates) may result in a skipped visit and a $75/hr return fee (2-hour minimum).
Must be requested within 24 hours. Valid claims are addressed at no charge. Invalid claims incur a $100 fee.
Submit requests 12 hours in advance. Charged at $75/hr (2-hour minimum). Yardly may decline due to weather or safety.
Subject to quote and availability. Weather and regulations apply.
Grass exceeding 6″ may incur a $75/hr surcharge, with prior notice.
Clean-Up covers leaves, thatch, and small branches. Other debris is excluded unless quoted.
$2M liability plus auto insurance. Proof available upon request.
Yardly is liable only for its actions. Clients indemnify Yardly for external claims.
Yardly is not liable for delays due to acts of God, weather, or legal limitations.
Personal information is used only for service and handled in accordance with applicable Alberta or federal privacy laws.
Payment schedule per Quote. Deposit may be required. Late accounts may be suspended after 7 days.
10% for age 65+. Requires ID. Non-transferable. Verified at Yardly’s discretion.
Services auto-renew unless opted out. A 30-day advance notice is provided. Clients must keep contact information current.

7-day notice required. $50 fee for short-notice cancellations. Prorated refunds where applicable. Subject to Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act.
Mediation in Alberta before legal action. Governed by Alberta law.
This Agreement supersedes past agreements. Invalid clauses do not void the remainder of the contract.
