When space allows, we carefully trim the grass vertically along sidewalks, driveways, and patios to create a neat and tidy border. This method provides a clean look while being gentle on the turf and hardscapes.

For softscapes like garden beds, trees, and shrubs, edging with a string trimmer may be performed at the discretion of the Pro if enough room exists between the plants and the edge. However, edging around beds is not a standard or promoted service.

Edge when the soil is dry but firm for the best results.
If heavy overgrowth (more than 4 inches) has built up over hard surfaces, use a flat spade or garden shovel first to cut back the turf.
